Parent Volunteers

Dear PHES Families,

I want to take a moment to send a big thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! It truly takes a village to host all the amazing events we have here on campus, and your help—whether it's in the classroom, on field trips, or during school events—makes such a difference. We couldn’t do it without you, and we appreciate each and every one of you!

As we work together, there are just a few important guidelines to keep in mind while volunteering:

  • Younger Siblings: While we love family involvement, we kindly ask that younger siblings stay at home during your volunteer time. This helps us maintain a smooth and safe environment on campus.

  • Volunteer Dress Code: As role models for our students, it's important we dress accordingly. Please avoid short shorts/skirts, low-cut tops, spaghetti straps or any clothing with logos or messages that might not be suitable for our young audience. If you're unsure, it's best to play it safe!

  • Photos: We know capturing those special moments is part of the fun, and we encourage you to snap photos of your own child! However, if you’re planning to share on social media, please make sure to blur or crop out any other students. Due to privacy policies, we can’t allow photos or videos of other kiddos to be posted online.

  • Bathrooms: While you are on campus please DO NOT use the kids bathrooms. Please ask a board member for a key to get you into a staff bathroom.

Volunteer Requirements
 
                                                          
For safety reasons, all parents/guardians who wish to be an approved volunteer (On Campus events, Chaperone for Field Trip, In class volunteering, etc.) working consistently with or around students must now have a valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card provided by the Department of Public Safety and a completed Paradise Schools Parent Volunteer Application. 
 
If you already have a Level One Fingerprint Clearance card,or, once you get the card in the mail, you must upload a copy of it to the Paradise Schools Parent Volunteer Application. The Level One Fingerprint Clearance card is valid for 5 years so this is not something you have to do each year. 
 
*Please note, if in the past you had received a Fingerprint at PHES and had been paying the $5 to renew each year, that is no longer an acceptable form of clearance. Please follow the links above to get the Level One Fingerprint Clearance card and complete the application.
